The Cedar Valley Mountain Bike Team is an independent junior high and high school cross country mountain bike team. We race in the Utah High School Cycling League, a NICA affiliate. In June 2026, our team program started moving toward independent nonprofit status in cooperation with our current parent organization and NICA.
Our team is based in Eagle Mountain, Utah, north/northwest of Utah Lake in Utah County. About 60,000 people live here between Lake Mountain and the south end of the Oquirrh mountains. A lot of families work in different industries, and we are close to Utah's tech corridor ("Silicon Slopes"). Local trails we ride are built and maintained with the Lake Mountain Trails Association.
We are a competitive cross country mountain bike team for junior high and high school athletes who live in Eagle Mountain, UT.
We are not officially tied to a junior high or high school. We are fully independent. Local schools still support us in other ways.
We are a NICA team through the Utah High School Cycling League. We practice and race under league rules and follow NICA values and policies for athletes and coaches.
